Seems like everyone is playing 1/2 power so I'm wondering, can someone tell me how much clean headroom the Remedy has at full power. For example, is the clean volume, comparable to the Stangray clean volume? Will it stay clean loud enough to get over loudish drums? Does it have that nice sparkley plexi type clean (obviously it has the crunch from what I've heard ;D) And at full power, when overdriving, does it clean up without too much volume loss. Thanks in advance.

I can see myself enjoying my new Remedy in the great outdoors at the full 40 watts Jaye.
Shorts and barefoot, bring it on mate, I can't wait to get mine.

Surely you guys are off water restrictions!!!! Water restrictions? We were never on them. What are they, we don't have any in Byron bay mate, it has the highest rainfall in the state up here and still manages to get lots of sunny days in. The shed out the back of the Billinudgel pub ( that little village about 1/4 mile from my place) has a roof on it so it's all weather. The publican doesn't mind if you turn it up, hes pretty cool.

T Jaye, To me the Remedy is never 'really' clean................and that is what I like so much about it.
FWIW I tend to run it in full power as I like the slightly faster attack and the thrust 2 output tubes just can not produce.

Full power, I caint wait to get a Remedy. You guys that own them are just killing me. I'd imagine it's going to be superb with my Explorer, but what does it sound like with that LP junior of your Curtis? I'm just such a sucker for P90's. The Ghia when I owned one seemed to favour my P90 special over all my other guitars. People are talking buckers with the Remedy. The amp I guess has been designed after a plexi I suppose. Don't know how the Doc achieves this with 6v6's though. I actually used to like playing my old 50 watt plexi with a strat and not jumpered. Great clean sound in my humble opinion. You just had to watch where your treble and mids were set. I'm rambling on.............sorry.

Think intro to Tom Petty's "Mary Janes Last Dance" and you'll know what a good P-90 guitar > Remedy sounds like, it's roots music nirvana.
Three chords and the crunchy truth.

Oh you are a bad, bad man Curt. I had a real bad feeling you were going to say this. You obviously know where my ears and fingers head when I search for inspiration.. Time to resurrect the banned "D" chord. ;D This ain't helping my gas nice considering what we were talking about last night.
