...it made me think of the Jeff Beck Group rekkid.
I've never been one to analyze what the players used as it was a futile effort when I had just what I had, but would try to mimic the tone with whatever gear I had at the time. Now, I got the gear for this and even from the memory in my head.
...and the best part for me, the Remedy forces me to push out more "attitude" in my playing in a fun way.

I don't enjoy playing at home, because I end up playing alot of attitudeless music becuase the lack of volume. I mean playing AC/DC songs is no fun unless your living the fire of that E,G,A part. Good to hear it's pushing you. DAVE

Yeah, similar thoughts here! I'll never forget the first time I heard "Fresh Cream" - those tones were out of this world! Of course it didn't hurt that the guy making them was blazing new territory. I spent years working on the licks, but the tones always evaded me - till now. Holy cow, this past weekend's gig was fun! Now the Les Paul has the upper birth in my Case Logic duo bag, and she goes out every time.

I had to sell my Les Paul = Bad Back so I bought a New Hamer Artist Custom that Retails for 3800 ish I got it for 1350 (my 'Bailout) ;)from a ''abandon ship '' sale....Oh my what an under the radar Guitar! It was #1: just as nice (if not better) put together as My 05 R9..#2 weighs only 7.1 lbs not 9 lbs and the tone was 3/4 Les Paul and 1/4 335... I don't miss my Lester that much ...My bad back doesn't at all ....I played my es 339 for the fist set and the rest of the weekend the Hamer W/ R E M E D Y of course ;D....The Hamers have Low Resale so I let the sinking ship (music store going under) take the hit for me ..,Thanks Harmonics all over the place..good ones !!!

I haven't gotten that Fresh Cream sound since I was playing almost full time in 1973-76. Was using my"new" 50W Marshall and my 66 SG Standard. I still have the copy of Fresh Cream I bought when it first came out. Hearing Eric on that profoundly changed my playing. Sorry for the long story- just tryin' to say I NEED A REMEDY
