Been going through that stupid stage where people have been saying to me that they've never heard a tone so good as the one i'm getting now with my strat and maz but no matter what you still want to tweak!!! i'm sure you know what i mean.I think i should just shut up and play! ;D

Are you John from Peach music,If you are I would just like to say my Maz 38 is going great that I bought from you r shop a month or so ago and like wise my strat sounds great through it also, but the only problem I tend to have is when I do Duo work in small pubs I'm not pushing the amp hard enough like I would if I were playing in a club with the band. So I will be looking at an attenuator and/or Maz Jr or perhaps a Z28 in the near future . Money certainly does'nt last long when your a muso.

Hi Steve, It is me indeed! Glad you're digging the Maz, i couldn't even consider anything other than a z now. Maz 18 NR is a good solution if you're looking for a little more grind at lower than 38 volumes Karma for you! i wonder how many UK Z users are on here?

Excellent, we've actually sold a few over to that way, probably at least 12 in various shapes and sizes over the last couple of months. The carmen ghia is also a fantastic option plus it'll give you another tone tool in your Arsenal!

Its a shame I did'nt live closer to the shop so I could try them all .Its around 5hr trip one way from where I live to the shop according to the rac route finder. Ah well when I get some more cash together I will probably buy another amp blind, wont be disappointed having trawled through most of this forum now reading the great testimonials for these amps. I suppose the hardest job is picking an amp for the gig situation so you can crank it. Like I said earlier the 38 really starts to sing when you start to push it ,but unfortunately the pub I did last night was quite small and even though the amp still sounds great at lower volumes you loose the sustain you get at higher volumes.
