Just curious how others who have this amp are running things. I've noticed, for example, with my Z-Best and with my THD 2x12 that there is PLENTY of bottom end, even with the bass control all the way off. I expect that might be different with my G12-65 cab, but I haven't got that far yet.
I've also noticed that I like the tone stack set up completely differently for my Les Paul than for my Strat.
So lay it out: What guitar, speakers, and settings are you using/abusing with your Remedy?
So far this is one setup I'm really digging:
Guitar: Les Paul R8 (bridge bucker) Speakers: Z-Best or Alnico Golds Bass: Off Middle: Dimed Treble: 9 o'clock High Vol: 2 o'clock Norm Vol: 11 o'clock Half Power
Anyone have a "great" Strat setting? How about your Tele?

My impressions are very similiar to yours, Steve. Here are my settings, when playing with my PRS DGT or a Les Paul with buckers; The Remedy has a lot of bass. It needs to be tamed!! The setting on my bass knob could easily be a bit lower. If you look at my "Blend" settings you can see I have the "high" pretty high, and the "normal" low.........it's all keeping the killer low end from taking over!! I've found that I tend to leave the "EQ"section about where it is in this picture, and only change the "Blend" setting according to the guitar or speaker cab I'm using. I can't wait to hear this amp thru the Gold in the 1x12 Dr Z with the back off................. BTW.........I've not gotten around to using a single coil guitar thru it yet......I will!! And, as an aside, I'd strongly recommend you check out the PRS DGT.........AMAZING GUITAR. It's the finest "new" guitar I've bought in many many years. It's got PAF-ish warm fuzzies, but with an edge that is in the ballpark of a Tele.....very uniquely voiced guitar. And, plays GREAT!!

This is not an easy question! I've been running my PRS SC245 into my Remedy, and for our last gig (day 2 with the Remedy) I needed to start with clean chords, so I set it up as follows, running it through a convertible Z 2x10 with stock speakers: B - 11:00 M - 9:00 T - 1:00 High - 10:00 Norm - 8:00
I finally got to spend more time with it last night, and started experimenting the tone controls. I left T, M, & B set similar to where mdrs set his. If I take the mids up much more than that, it seems I can't quite get the clean I need with humbuckers. I kept the volumes where I had them before. Next step will be to turn up the volumes and adjust the guitar accordingly, but that usually means a loss of tone since I don't have a volume kit on my 245.
EDITED TO ADD: I plugged my strat (ash/rosewood - kind of a bright guitar) into the Remedy, turned the mids up to around 3:00, lowered the treble to 12:00, and brought the normal volume up above the high volume by a tad. This amp might get me to start playing my strats again. ;D

I had a Celestion G12H in it for a while, but just before I bought the Remedy, I threw in an Eminence Governor. It sounded pretty good! I've also run it through my Mesa 1x12 3/4 closed back cab with a Mesa Black Shadow speaker (not sure who makes it or what it's equivalent to). It sounded great, as well. So far, the Remedy has sounded good through everything I've got!

Cool...........I just got a Celestion Gold, in fact it's still in the box. I may throw it in my Dr. Z 1x12 tonight if I can get to it, and give it a go............
