Now guys if the RXES sounds like a RxJr but at louder volumes. How in the world could the Remedy sound better than that? I mean with the boost and 45 watts. How could the Remedy sound better or be a better amp over the RXES?
Going off my sound of the RxJr into a 4x12 cab which I'm not getting great speaker break up with 15 watts. I get great I mean great plexi tones without the boost on. If I kick on the boost then watch out.
If the RXES is the same? I guess I need to try this Remedy thing just to see, but I would have to guess, No way!!!!!

They aren't the same. Both are very good. But they aren't the same.

What is "better"? Is the Mazerati GT "better" than the EZG-50? Is the Maz JR "better" than the Rx Jr? At this level they're all great; it's like choosing between a Porsche, a Ferrari, a Lamborghini, and a BMW M6. It depends on what you're want to do with it and what your style is. IMO, for Fender nothing beats an EZG. For pure tone and saturation nothing beats the Mazerati GT. For Voxy nothing beats the Stangray. For hot-rodded Voxy sounds the Rx's are great. For Bluesbreaker sounds the Route 66 is great. The KT-45 can do a lot, especially with Rics or if you're looking to be Pete T. Then there's the MAZ's which are so versatile they can do almost anything. The Remedy is still king for those of us who love the '60 and '70s rock and blues tones. The Galaxie does great a tweed Fender and Marshally breakup sounds. Everyone loves the unique Ghia. The Z28 is also a very versatile toneful amp. There's a Z for everyone

Phil said it better than I could have. They are all really great in their own personal ways.

This afternoon I've got my Remedy and my Maz 38 sitting on top of the Z-Best with an Airbrake and Brake Lite and the Radial Headbone switching the heads so I can do a real time A/B. I really like the Maz 38 for the neck pup of my Strat, so I wanted to compare. The two amps are not the same, and neither is "better" per se. You can definitely hear the difference between the output tubes when they come into the equation because the saturation sounds different. Both amps can get brighter than you really need (which I consider good because a Strat is pretty bright but not a Les Paul). It sounded to me as if the Remedy was a bit stronger through the mids, but then I realized I had the treble on the Maz 38 dimed and the treble on the Remedy at noon. When I set both at noon, the midrange sounded closer. I think I like both, but for different reasons. I definitely prefer the Remedy with my Les Paul (violin tone!), and I think I could take out either amp and have a wonderful gig with the Strat, but they ARE different. The Remedy at gig volume is still an unknown for me, but at the low levels I'm playing here it seems to have more sustain than any of my amps. The Mazerati GT was similar in this regard - at gig volume you can hit a note and just leave it sustaining until you decide to mute it. The way the Remedy is responding I'm expecting that same thing. Here's the thing though - everyone hears something different. Everyone runs their amps different. Everyone has different guitars, cables, stomp boxes, speakers, power, yada yada yada. And EVERYTHING matters. So you can see here my impressions, but you'll have to try it for yourself to get the final answer.
