A few weeks ago I was watching a country music awards show with my daughter and a guy named "Jason Aldean" sang a song called" she's country." While I didn't care much for the song, I loved the guitar tones in the rythm and leads and was wondering if anyone familiar with the song or could just do a search on youtube could tell me if Remedy could get that tone. Thanks.

Kurt Allison was the lead player in Jason's band, haven't payed much attention in a while. He plays Mesa Boogies, primarily 6L6 amps like the Roadster and Lonestar. I would lean toward the Galaxie for that sound, but you can't go wrong with Remedy, I can't wait for mine to get here.

Huh, I have a lonestar special and it doesn't seem like it would get quite that tone. Maybe the lonestar classic. I have a Stangray and I wonder if the right pedal could get me there or close.

Yes, Lonestar classic. He does have a LSS, but on stage I have only seen the Roadster and Lonestar Classic. I bet the Ray could get you close with the right pedal. He has a nice raunchy dirty tone for that song as well as Hicktown. Maybe a RC or AC booster, maybe something higher gain like an old Rat pedal. I am not great with OD pedals, I keep trying them and keep coming back to straight tube distortion from the amp. I can get really, really close to that tone with my Z-28 and no pedals, we play Hicktown in one of our sets. Sorry, not helping much am I.

Actually I appreciate the input Hogridr. I was posting about a pedal to get a more Marshally type distortion in another forum and got lots of suggestions. Was thinking of trying a BB plus.
