Can you add an extension cab to the Maz 38 combo? I currently am trying out a Maz 38 2X12 and wonder what the effects of adding another 2X12 cab would be if it is possible.

The effects would be exactly the same as adding an extension cab to any other amp. What is it you are looking for?
Your 2x12 combo is probably 2 16-ohm speakers wired in parallel for 8 ohm impedance, and is plugged into your 8-ohm output.
You would need another 8-ohm cab and a Y-connector, plug both internal and extension into the Y and plug that into your 4-ohm output.
Do not plug into more than one output jack at a time--each jack is wired into a tap of the Output transformer.

I'm looking to get a bigger fuller sound for some of the larger venus I'll be playing. I was at my local guitar shop today and saw they had a Z best cabinet in stock. Has anyone ever connected a Z best cab in to a combo amp? What are everyones thought on the benefits of this?

i was wondering about the about the same deal. adding a 4x12 or 2x12 closed back with the combo. The open back will give you a bit more openness and stage volume while the close back will give you more projection and punch. i'm thinking the mix would be killer for larger venues

Played a club on the weekend that seats about 200 and the 4 12's sounded great.
