I don't have a remedy yet, but I have a z-best and an EVH 4x12 and the best way to put it is more.... Biggest thing is that good old 4x12 thump. The z-best is great, but that thump you feel in your chest, your pants leg blowing. I played my KT-45, SRZ, Maz GT all though that cab and it is soooo sweet. I put some old geenbacks in my z-best in preparation for my Remedy.

When I get my Remedy (one of these days) I'll be trying it with my THD 4x12 - that thing has a port, and you've never heard such a thump... ;D

I was thinking about a Remedy with 2 Z-Best cabs. Now that is a 4 x 12. I'll have to eventually try that with my GAL.

Oh yeah, one standard, and one dual Greenback Z Best. Too much is just enough.
Just enough to please me, you might say.

I've just had my Remedy for a couple of days. I've played it thru a Marshall 1960 that I have loaded with Heritage series G12M's and G12H's........the tone is killer.
Great chimey cleans, almost Plexi growl.....this amp is impressive....really impressive.
I have a bunch of great amps......both old and new, including several 45 watt Plexis, and the Remedy is in the ballpark. It's growl is not the Marshall Growl. But, it is in the neighboorhood, for sure.
I will be playing the Remedy thru an old Marshall 4x12 loaded with creambacks (made in 1974), and thru a Rivera 4x10 loaded with Vintage 30's hopefully tomorrow, and I'll try to report back.
This amp is impressive. My 16 yo, who happens to be a pretty amazing classic rock/blues guitarist, and who has a great ear, AND who's played thru some pretty amazing amps, told me this evening, after we jammed for a bit, that the Remedy is the best new amp I've had in our studio.
Jeff knows tone!!! ;D

BTW......my Remedy likes a PRS DGT, as well as an old '50's LP with P 90's........I'll run a Strat and a Tele thru it soon. Here it is;

I played the Remedy thru a Rivera 4x10 cab this am, and it sounds very good. It sounded tighter than it did through any of my 4x12's. I almost got the impression that the Remedy at full power almost overpowers most of my speaker cabs, including the Rivera.
The Rivera cab brought out the sweet chimey aspect of the Remedy, although so did the 4x12 cabs.
The verdict? The Remedy sounds great thru a Rivera 4x10.
Personally, I prefer running it thru a 4x12 cab, however.
A couple of other observations. The half power tone is AMAZING....I might like it more than the full power. At times I think that the full power is overpowering, if that makes sense.
Also, I a/b'ed the Remedy and an old JMP 50 watt head I have, playing both thru an old Marshall 4x12 slant cab loaded with creambacks. And, the Remedy sounds closer to the JMP than I expected! They are darn close to sonic twins. It was eye opening!!!
