Has anyone used a treble booster into a Maz and recieved any great overdrive tones?? I have a pete cornish treble booster and can't wait to make the drive to the Z dealer to try it out. The pete cornish booster works well in amps with a normal channel like ac-30's or bassman amplifiers, and works expecially well with amps that also have cut controls. It's the same one used by brian may since the night at the opera album. My old ac-30 is gone... it was unreliable and noisy and I would like to replace it with a quality amp.

Just my two cents...I've never personally tried a treble booster with my maz...mainly for the fact that I have the blues in it and I can only run the treble around 9:00 and cut at 10:30...any more than that and I would be pierced off of the stage!

I have a BBE Freq Boost that I use occasionally. It adds a little mid treble, a little compression and a little distortion.

RC sparingly... I don't use it by it's self. I usually use it to boost the bb, ac or ocd...

My only problem with the amp is that the highs get too piercing. A treble booster IMO would be the last thing in the world I would think about trying with the amp. But it might be right for some...
