I just got an extension cab for my Max 38 combo. The ext cab has an 8 ohm Eminence Two Rock 12. I had a 'y' cord made but I'm not sure which "speaker out" jack to use? there are 3 choices 4, 8, and 16. With 2 8 ohms connected with the Y - which one? Also, when running both the onboard and ext speaker, will I need to adjust the volume and master levels to get to the same volume? Any thoughts about that TwoRock speaker? It was a good deal (same price as the Avatar cab w/o a speaker!) so I can always upgrade later. Thanks guys.

I forgot to say - the Maz Sr is a single 12 combo. The goal was to get the 2x12 sound with the ext cab. Thanks

4 ohms.
Your Y cord puts the speakers in parallel.
um, you adjust your volume to taste and need. Will 2 speakers be louder?? Somewhat.
What you perceive depends on too many things, that's why your amp comes with all those dials, they are to be used.
