Since the Remedy is supposed to have a healthy dose of Plexi flavor, has anyone sent it into a duo or quad of Greenbacks yet? Or is anyone planning to? Would it move the tone further toward the Marshall side?

I have with a 2x12 of English Greenbacks and a single Weber 1225.
They, as any speaker sound great with this amp, just depends on what you want.
Greenbacks may not have enough headroom for some with this amp.
It has about the perfect headroom for me between speaker selection and 1/2 power switch, but it's no clean machine, neither is it a gain machine like the GT or SRZ, just tons of character to the notes.

So in the meantime, has anybody tried Greenbacks enough to comment on the combination?

I've had my Remedy for three days. So far, I've only played it thru a Marshall 1960 cab that I have loaded with Heritage Series Celestion G12H's and G12M's. It sounds thick, ballsy, and EXCELLENT. It's got a sweet chimey tone, and then you turn it up, and it'll growl in a very pleasing fashion. It's not an old 45 watt Plexi. But, it's in the ballpark, for sure. My 16 yo, who's a pretty decent classic rock/blues guitarist, who possess a great ear, and who's played thru many fine old and new amps, told me today that he thinks that the Remedy is the best "new" amp we've had ever. I will run it thru an old (1974) Marshall 4x12 with creambacks, as well as a Rivera 4x10 soon, and will try to remember to post with my impressions. This amp rocks. And, IT'S ONLY GOT 5 KNOBS. THAT'S IMPORTANT!! Here's my "greenie";

I ran the Remedy thru an old Marshall 4x12 slant (made in 1974) loaded with creambacks...I also A/B'ed it with an old Marshall 50 watt JMP head.
The Verdict?
The growl of the Remedy is closer than I thought to the JMP!! It's pretty amazing....very very close sonically. I think the JMP is "thicker". But, playing both heads thru that old cab showed that indeed they are very very close to being twins.
Next, I played the Remedy thru a Marshall TV 4x12 cab and a 1960V "Vintage" 4x12 cab, as well as a really nice Rivera 4x10.
The Remedy sounded good thru all three of them. I prefer the 4x12's over the 4x10 cab..........the 12" speakers move more air, and sounded thicker. The Rivera 4x10 sounded tighter, perhaps a bit too tight.
BTW........I may like the half power tone of the Remedy BETTER than the full power. It may be that I just need to tweek the setting more. But, on full power I kind of get the impression that the Remedy is slightly overpowering the speakers in all of these cabs. The Remedy is powerful and LOUD.
The Remedy video that's been posted shows off the amp being played at polite levels. Turn this puppy up, and it gets Plexi rude. And, I like that!!!

Thanks for taking the time to a/b and write this. My old 70's JMP was one of my all time favourite amps. The only problem was it was just way too loud!
