Hi all. There's a lot of great information on this board, but most seem to be well versed in amps like the Maz. I've played modeling amps for a long Maz. I'm looking at a Maz Sr., 1X12 combo. Here's my question:
When gigging, what are the pedals of choice? Does the maz come with a foot switch, or do I twiddle knobs to go from mild overdrive to full-on lead tone?
I'm thinking of an overdrive/boost like my fulltone and a delay and that's about it? But do I really have to rely on knobs for bigger tone changes?
Thanks in advance!

The majority of folks tend to dial in a great clean tone, or slightly dirty tone that cleans up when rolling the volume on guitar back a bit, and use a couple pedals to get heavier drive/dirt tones. Most don't twiddle the knobs once it's set - aside from minor tweaks as the night goes on w/cut, volume/master, etc. Fulldrive II is nice in front of the Maz...if you had that and a clean boost you could cover a LOT of tones. The Maz series, well, as most of the Z's, take pedals very well.

Awesome thanks the the info... All my guitars work well with that scenario and if the maz responds well to guitar-based volume and output then I should have much of what I need...
I have a fulldrive II custom shop with boost. That, a delay and a wah should do me then. Thanks again...

I use a Fulltone II and a Keeley Katana with my Maz 38. With that setup, I wonder why people have 3 channel amps ! ! Works very well for me.
