How can any body who loves Dr. Z amps, read about this here Remedy amplifier and not want one? I think I read every word posted here, and there is not one word that tells me that I'm not gonna like the Remedy. I also heard the amp up close and personal at Z Fest 2009. (Thanks Curt.) Well at least I feel better for the moment.

We should probably go halves on it again pops. I'm sure mom wont mind a lovely blonde Dr. Z Remedy head in the living room laying upon her hutch, considering the music room is packed with Z's and my drums!

Sounds like it's time to build a new room just for the amps.

What we should really do, is get rid of those loud and big a$$ drums! That would free up a whole lot of room in the music room. ;D

I just bought the maz 18 jr nr and I love that amp! But I had not heard about the Remedy prior to my purchase. I love the old school Marshall tone. I actually have a Marshall 50 watt Plexi modded with a master in the back.
Still the posts I have read and the concept of the Remedy have me wanting one big time!
;D

I'm telling you, with a Headbone swiching them between the same speakers, it is heaven.

Got it, kiddo? -Uncle Frank

I have a private place for all my gear, separate building... I'm the only one with the keys. In other words if my wife wants to get in there she either has to ask me or break in. At any rate, I let her in occasionally and the other night she saw the wall of Red Z-Amps and Speakers cabinets... the guys knew she wasn't in there much and didn't know what reaction to expect... then she says, "I'll bet your investment up here is doing better than all of our other investments." She's a smart gal!

She is right! I have a account called a ''Don't ask Don't tell'' account. It is a Pay Pal debit card and it's only for equipment I buy and sell on E Bay...I don't use any income....If I sell something for 3k and buy something for 2899. there is no Drama. every now and then the put a couple of grand for bills... she knows but like paying 1499. for a Remedy is not even a question.... This is good for both of us. ;D A lot of my stuff was ''A Trade'' yea that's it! ;D Two years ago I had over 30k in gear...I trimmed it down a bit but the quality is still there Thank you E Bay

Hmmm. ..I like the "Trades" scheme - er- explanation. It's not so hard with guitars, I just slide them into the stack. But if I had a wall of red amps and she walked in on that ,welllllll - I can just see all my clothes on the front lawn.

Re gear and the significant other
Here's another, albeit specialized technique, to add to those already offered. My neighbor is an audiophile. He has tube amps for his stereo system. Each amp is mono and costs north of $10K, so it's $20K just for the amps. My wife knows this. As a result, getting a Remedy head to keep the MAZ 18 company went quite smoothly.
Moral: distraction and air cover can be helpful ;D
