You bet it sounds great.. and my god can this thing get loud.
Sometimes on low notes I get what I think is speaker breakup.. until I realize its the drop-ceiling tiles rattling. I got dust in my eye yesterday!
Hopefully I'll upload clips soon. I notice a lack of RxJr fanfare, and I intend to reverse that.

Hard to believe it's only 15 watts, isn't it?

Congrats, Evendael, on the great looking and great sounding rig! Mine just keeps getting better and better. As Benttop said above, it's an amazingly loud 15 watts. I've gigged w/ mine w/ absolutely no problem, and I don't think I've had it above noon-ish on the MV while on stage. Usually, I'm being told by the sound guy to "turn down some." It has superb, sparkling cleans and some nasty, crunchy, raunch (and I mean that in a very good way!). But you already know that as evidenced from the "eye injury."

Very nice! Prolly be the first of many, if you are like everybody else here.

Very nice! Prolly be the first of many, if you are like everybody else here. Yeah, the RXJr was my first and soon I had a MAZ JR NR to keep in company. The RXJr remains my usual gig rig. I really love it--it is something special.

Just thought I'd let ya'll know.. yesterday I sold my Vox AD50VT, and I bought a AD15VT to take to college.. anyway, it was a nice amp. For a time I thought 'ah hell, what do I need a boo-teek amp for, this sounds pretty good'..
BUT! I plugged into her to make sure all was well before the guy picked it up, and I can honestly say the RxJr ruined that amp for me. Completely devastated my opinion of it.. and I fear of every other amp besides another Z.
It's just that good.

Yes the RxJr is a great amp. I haven't been talkin mine up on here, but I'm much happier with it than I was with the Z-28. The Z-28 was and is nice, but it's not the amp for everything I can do on guitar like the RxJr is.

yeah, I really like how it can do everything. The sound of the RxJr through the blue is so sweet. The cleans tones once you push the amp and speakers are great. Even with the gain pumped up the blue works well, but seams a little to compressed. Lucky enough I bought that 4x12 cab so when I need "that" rock'n roll tone. WOW, it is great!!!
Truely a Pro sounding rig with plenty in the bag.

I found that my old Burny Les Paul (lawsuit guitar, 80's made in japan) absolutely loves this amp.
The old pickups just breathe through it, twang and fantastic crunch in the bridge, I can even get SRV tones from the neck and with the amp cranked I get massive lead tones.
Last night I heard the 'Paisley sound' for the first time.. I don't know how to describe it. Fuzzy twangy sound? Not in a bad way.. but when I finger pick down in the lower register, I can hear it. Sweet.
I typically have the master at 9.. quiet enough for bedroom use and an incredible tone! Are there any adverse effects to running it hot with the master down so low? I assume its just like cranking an amp through an attenuator..
off to play it right now!

Congrats on the new rig. You can't go wrong with the Jr.!
And with the MV you can get a decent bedroom volume. Love this amp.
