I went over to a friends house tonight to mess around with some cool vintage amps and let him try out the Ghia. We compared the Ghia to a vintage 18 watt Marshall head and a vintage AC-30 non top boost. Both very cool amps. We used his closed back Vox cabinet loaded with Golds and my V30 openback. All three are very good sounding amps and I personally would love to own the Marshall and Vox for the nostalgic value alone. That being said, the Ghia sounded like a cross between the Marshall and Vox. It has the meat in the middle like the Marshall but has the cool top end like the Vox. My friend was impressed with the Ghia, who knows there may be another Z brother soon. We also tried me Weber Mini-Mass on all three. I think he is placing an order for one this week. I have to say that I have never been happier with a single amplifier that I have ever owned or even played for that matter. Keep up the good work Doc.

Oh yes, brother! I've been working on my son's Boogie Subway rocket- tubes, loose components etc. It's now sounding very nice. I decided to try it against the Ghia and it's in a totally different league- hard to believe the Ghia doesn't cost a few thousand more than it does, it's that good! Brett
