Hi, I just purchased a 1 yr old Maz 38 1x12 combo off the Bay. The tubes have about 6 mos of use and I have a tube rattle on certain notes that is annoying at low volume. Should I retube the entire amp?
Replace all or part of these? MAZ-38 SR NR: 1-GT12AX7S, 1- GT12AX7S, 1-12AX7R2,1- Quad GT EL-84-S, 1-5AR4.
Thanks,

I would and then keep these as spares, except the rattlers, throw them out.

If you want to take it back to stock, they have V1- JJ ECC83 V2- JJ ECC83S V3- Sovtek 12AX7LPS V4/V5- Groove Tube EL84S #6 when they leave the shop.

You could also do v1-5751 v2-JJECC83 v3-5751 and a quad of new GTEL84 6's.That will sound sweet. Or like Jim statesd above.
