Hey guys and gals!!!
I'm stoked - I recieved my MAZ 38 about ten minutes ago. I aslo have a Mesa Stiletto that I run thru a Marshall 2x12 1936. The cab is 8 ohm mono and 16 stereo (I'm pretty sure). I want to run my Dr. Z thru one side of the cab and my Mesa (very carefully) thru the other. How do I set the ohm selector on the back of both heads? Should they both come out of 16 ohm or 8 ohm speaker jacks? Also, is this just a stupid idea to begin with?
Thanks, Bilbal

well, i WAS wondering how to play both the Mesa and my new Maz38 at the same time. Not ever having any knowledge of low wattage amps, i was afraid that the Maz would lack when it came to overall loudness. What a naive thought that was. This thing absolutely screams: vol. 1 o'clock, master 7 o'clock and this thing is singing!!! unbelievable. I will never, ever, doubt low-wattage amps again. I love this thing.

Ah, yes the Maz 38 RAWKS with only 38 watts. Well, it's been said the amp is conservatively rated and is possilbly more like 50 watts. It covers all the bases for me, I can't imagine needing to play any louder at any of the venues I am likely to play at. If I were going to open for KISS it might be a different matter entirely.

The amps will each see 16 ohms in stereo, so use the 16 ohm output on each amp. You have 16 ohm speakers, which will be 8 ohms when run together. So 8 for mono, 16 each side in stereo....I bet that'll rock, just make sure the speakers can handle it...
