Can set the tone controls to taste, but here's where I've found the Master/Volume tweaks start to make the difference - :
Master Up, Volume Down = Power Tube Drive for smoother/warmer tones. Master Down, Volume Up = Pre Tube Drive for brighter/edgier and scooped tones.
Where I've found the 'coloring' starts:
Master 2-3:00 Volume 11:00 will get you into a warm "Marshally" kind of tone - nice mid hump, smooth and compressed. Emphasis is on the power section.
Master 10-12:00 Volume 1-2:00 will get you into scooped "Vox/Fender" kind of tone - less mids, bit more bite/edge and less compressed. Emphasis is on the pre section.
Might try rolling the Cut down around 9-10:00. Lower Cut settings are smoother/darker. Higher Cut settings are brighter/edgier/more aggressive. High Cut settings are killer for high-gain playing.
