Hi All,
Does anyone know of a setting that will get me a blonde Bassman tone? I love this amp for the Voxie/Supper Reverb tone I can get out of it, but I’m also looking for the 64 Bassman tone. If you can’t get the Bassman tone with this amp what do you suggest?
Thanks!

1964 was the transition year from blonde to black and the year the presence control went away. Basically higher treble, less mids, and cut very low would be a good place to start.

Sorry I should have been more specific. I’m looking for the 6G6-B sound like Brian Setzer.

Thanks billyguitar! Are the settings you recommend for the 6g6-b or for the later 64s without the presence knob?
Thanks!

Just but the prescence where you like it. It'll vary with different guitars depending on how bright they are naturally.
