I just ordered an 8 ohm 12" tone tubby to put in an extension cab and was positive that the celestion in my Maz 38 sr. was 8 ohm... however, I didn't have the amp with me and now I see it is 16 ohm.
Can I use both the 8 ohm and 16 ohm speaker sends? (which i guess would be running in series?) and Is it sketchy to tie them in parralell since they're different ohm ratings.
...Or I noticed people talking about rewiring a speaker to adjust the ohms?
Please Help Thanks

You'll need two speakers with the same ohm rating, then you'll need a Y cable, Pro cable and sounds has developed one just for us Z guy's and did offer a discount to us, make a note on the order form.
DO NOT run one speaker out of each jack.

Yeah, see if you can change your Tone Tubby order to 16 ohms! It's not advisable to run two speakers of differing impedance simultaneously, for a couple of reasons.
If you get manage to get a 16 ohm TT, do what Tele62 says - run a Y-cable (made for speaker use, not instrument) out of the amp's 8 ohm jack and hook the internal speaker and external cab to the two prongs of the Y-cable.
