just wondering what i should expect to pay in maintenance, mostly tubes. I realize it depends on how much you play and how hard you push the amp. Maybe i should have asked approximately how much would i pay in tubes based on how many hours the amp is used. (eg. $100 for 60 hours) Just want to know what i'm getting myself into.

johnnyrocker, $140.00 will buy you a complete set of tubes.treat your amp kindly & they should last you at least 60 hrs. always put your amp on standby for at least 2 or 3 mins. before turning it on.try to let it cool down before transporting it.try not to jar it around any more than you have to.from what i can tell these are very well made amps & they should last a lifetime. congratulations!

The power tubes should last longer than 60 hours and the pre tubes and rectifier should last much longer. I believe Myles says it is noticable if you change the power tubes at 300 hours. He also recommends changing the PI every-other time you change power tubes. Of course Myles on here, so you may want to verify my memory with him. Just post your question in "Ask Myles" post in the Experts forum.
If you search you might be able to find the answer already on here.

Myles states 300 hours. I change mine once a year. I think a quad of GT EL84 6's go for about $50 or so.
Not a bad deal compaired to a 6L6 Marshall I used to own. That was about 300 a year. $100 just in tubes and $200 for the guy to re-bias it! One less headache with the El84 amps.

Yeah Paul....I'm with ya on this....the MAZ Senior Tubes are easy and fairly cheap....and it doesn't need re-biasing. To me, that's a HUGE feature! Oh yeah...and did I ever mention how good those Seniors sound?! Mark
