I just ordered a used MZAX 38 NR and Zbest cab. All my curent amps are combos and I want to have a speaker cable ready when the amp shows (it's being shipped).
What length should I get?
Thanks, S.F. Franky

I don't have a ZBest cab so I don't know exactly where the jack is located, but I'm guessing a 2 or 3 ft. cable would be plenty for setting the head directly on the cab. However, if you think you might want to ever tilt the cab back or for some other reason seperate the head, then go ahead and get a longer one. Or, just get two - a long and short!

Good advice Straight or right angle? (I'm ordering Evidence cables, that's why I'm asking)

Good call on the Evidence speaker cables. To my ears, they did more to improve my sound than the Evidence guitar cables did. (Although I like the Evidence guitar cables too - the stiffness is still kind of a big deal to me)
With the thickness of the Evidence cable, the straight plugs have fewer issues than the angled ones. I know this because I started with a mix and ended up having one angled one fixed that was DOA. Cheerfully fixed by LavaCables and no probs with the straight plugs at all.
Hope this is helpful.
Moses.
