I actually have a Maz 38 "Studio Lead" head. A lot in common with the 'Senior'. I have never had the hi - lo inputs explained. Is it eq? Or just volume?

As I understand it, it's the strength of the signal going into the amp. Afraid I don't have a more technical answer. The next guy will. I use my low input on my Maz 38 Sr. to tame my humbuckers, to coax out sweeter sounds, just with the right amount of "shut up!"

It's just like the old fender amps. You could say the lo input is lower gain and vice-versa. More clean headroom with the lo input. Propellr did a good job of explaining it. Nothing to do with impedance.
