Hi folks - Newbi here. I'm ordering a Rx Jr 1x12 combo from my local dealer this week. I'm having a hard time making up my mind about a speaker out of the speakers available to me from Dr Z. I play blues , blues rock and classic rock through Strats 90% of the time. I like a nice tight big bottom end, detailed but not overwhelming mids and smooth highs. I use pedals for 75% of my overdrive and distortion. Any help would be appreciated. I already have a Maz 38 head and Z Best 212. The best cab bar none I've ever used with the most versitile head I've ever used

Doc really likes the Greenback with the Rx Jr, and I do to. I'm not sure I would describe it as having a big bottom, though. You can only get Celestion 12's from Dr. Z, so maybe a G12H30 or G12-65?

From what I've read here, the most popular speakers for the RXJr in a 1X12 would be some derivative of Greenback or Blue (whichever your ears and bank account prefer - Celestion, Weber, Eminence, etc.).

Of the Blue, Gold, G12H30 or Greenback, I preferred the GB over the others and I'm also using a strat primarily. I felt that the Blue and Gold were too bright and the H30 had too boomy of a low end. The GB just hit it perfectly for my set up.
