Hi, I have a prescription extra strength head and I have a twin twelve bottom loaded with a couple old Jensen's alincos. I play a tele and would like a little professional advice on tweaking my sound. does Brad Paisley typically use compression ? what settings would you recommend, I have a boss cs 2, I also have a boss rv 5 reverb, what settings would recommend to start with? I also recently bought a zendrive, but it doesn't seem to be as gainy as it should, again what settings would you recommend? and of course the amp does brad play his rxes in the hi input or the low? it looked to me that brads amp had bass 3 O'Clock, mid 1 O'Clock, treble 12 O'Clock. is this a good starting point? I read that brad runs his rxes @16 ohms what is the speaker situation? I know this is an awful lot but I want to get started on the right foot. I appreciate what ever help you can provide. Does brad use an attenuator?

Brad no longer uses the RxES for the most part. Z-Wreck, Mazerati GT, Stangray are his current amps in his rig that are the most used amps. For his current settings on those amp check with Chad Weaver as Zac has not been on the road with Brad for quite a while at this point.

I didn't know he was using a GT. Don't forget the Bruno Underground 30 and his old AC-30.

What is the best way to forward that question to Chad Weaver? Thanks for the info. I would still be interested in how he set the rxes up while he was using it.

I realize everyone has their own idea of what the ultimate tone is, but I still like Paisleys early recordings.
