So it looks like I have another strange rx on my hands. It's a blonde head. ANd the bright switch has no markings (ie no I/II) Also there are no number markings, and chicken head knobs. This is an original RX so it should have a footswitch jack on the back. Instead, it has a mini toggle (like the ones on the front) This certainly makes it louder, but it beats me whether it's a volume boost alone. Why would it have a minitoggle for volume boost. The faceplate is plastic, and the serial number starts with L, which would make it 2001. Any ideas what the switch on the back is, or why it doesn't have a footswitch?

I'm guessing you are one of the lucky ones, and that switch on the back is an overdose switch. I've got an earlier one from 96 that only has the bright and expand switches ,but it seems you have all three!

Well it would certainly seem that it's an overdose switch, though it's unmarked. I played it at practice last week and it was ungodly loud through the Marshall 1960A in our rehearsal room. Only open back inefficient speaker cabs for this guy from now on... And an air brake
