Well after Hearing Joel talking about the Galaxie at Zfest and Tony playing one, I went to Make n Music to play one, today
This Amp worked great, I played it through A Tyler Strat and a Collings I 35. I couldn't Believe the tones I was getting, I'm really Digging this amp. One of my favorite things was how much the two channels were different, the clean was CLEAN and the dirty was FAT, and was very dynamic. I really Like this amp

Yep, one thing that really opened up this amp for me was turning the bass knob all the way down (or almost all the way). The volume became much more manageable and I could work the various nuances of gain in channel 2 better. Also, it still has plenty of bass with my open back 1x12 cab. The bass / treble nobs are really similiar to a Z28 in that they significantly participate in the amount of gain and volume of the amp. Can get a really crisp distortion tone in channel 2, and a little compression and it's SUPER nice!
