I keep trying new things!
I am obsessed with two amp rigs. I have tried my RXES and my Z28 using a A/B amp switcher. I use the RXES as my rhythm and The Z28 as my Lead sound. Next to the RXES, the Z28 is not full enough.
What do you guys think of using a RXES jr for leads and a/b with a Head switcher through one cabinet?

The two amps can be made to sound identical. But the Jr has a lot less volume, obviously. If you want the same character on both sounds, it could be a good way to go.

How quickly does the jr start to break up? I do mostly country, I was thinking that it may go into overdrive too soon when running next to the RXES.

Depends. If you have a low output guitar into the low input with the OD off, you basically have a clean amp. But even with something like my Fralin blues specials into the high input, with the OD on and the volume at noon, while I have quite a lot of saturation with the guitar full up, rolling it back to 5 produces a very sweet sounding clean tone.

looks like I'm going to be spending some More money. Humbucker music has an RXESjr in Black! It looks like my RXES. Maybe my wife won't notice ;D

One thing about the Jr - best master volume on any amp anywhere IMO.
