It's not the greatest picture but I had to post a picture of both my Blonds together. (What a goof I am: I just realized that the price tag was still on it when I snapped the picture)

Blondes are always more fun Grats on the amp! Not only a blonde, but a GREEN jewel on the pilot light too. Serious mojo on that amp!

Thanks for the comments guys. I've been working a lot so I haven't had much time to mess with it yet.
Is that green jewel Dr Z installed mojo or did the previous owned send me some of his own mojo (and why do all of my spell checks keep taking the "e" off the end of blonde)?

Cool neck on that Tele..I've never seen one like it... Lotsa mojo in that green jewel too.. What is that red/black thing plugged into your guitar? BTW...I think "blond" is actually correct, in the USA...

The Tele is the new GE Smith signature model. It's basically a cross between a Nocaster (big neck) and a 52 AVRI and it has the old lap steel position markers.
The red and black thing is a right angle Neutrik "silent" plug. It's part of the cable like a normal plug but it kills the sound when you plug in or unplug so you don't get the buzz noise. I make my own cables and figured I would give one of these a try.

Is that green jewel Dr Z installed mojo or did the previous owned send me some of his own mojo There's a rumor that started somewhere about the how the Doc used to put green jewels on Carmen Ghias that he thought had a little extra something, and as he came out with more models he continued to do it on them. Is it true? I don't know, BUT you do have a green jewel on your amp

The green light rumor is kind of cool. The guy I bought the amp from works for a music store and I'm pretty sure he's the original owner. I doubt that he's the kind of person to change out a jewel light. I'll have to ask him about it the next time I see him.
