Hi, I am new to the forum and would like to say hello to everbody! I mostly play with everything at 12 o'clock with High input for all around sound. (little to no reverb) Any suggestions on getting the BF/vox sound? I need some head room for some U2 type stuff, I will use my GoudieFx 808 and GoudieFx G-Drive for overdriven sounds. Hello again! Pat.

For a good black face tone, I start with the cut no higher than 10 o'clock. I set the treble and bass at noon and turn the mids off. Crank the master all the way, and set the volume to what you want. Anyone else have any ideas?

Strato, Your suggestions are pretty similar to what the Dr. suggests. He says:
Volume:9 Treb: Max Mid: Off Bass: Max Master: Max Cut: 10-11 Reverb: 12
As for playing U2 stuff, I generally use his suggestion for British Chime Vol: 9:30 Treb: 12 Mid: 2 Bass: 10 Master: 2 Cut:2 Reverb:9:30
If nothing else, these are good starting places for you. Take them and tweak them as you will.

Thanks guys!
How about setings for high head room? Should I just use Lo input?

Higher headroom you can get by using the low input, and running the master up full then use the volume to bring up your sound to your liking.
