I have looked at conections ,they are all tight. I checked to see if the tubes were all glowing ,they were. I know thats not going to show much. But aside from bringing it to a tech,is there anything else I can try?
I got the amp used. The circuit and reverb tank were updated by DrZ sometime in '05.
Thanks all--Scott

Try switching around the 2 inputs on the reverb tank. If they are reversed... no sound.

And after that, you may want to pull the tank and look inside to see if the wires are connected internally. Sometimes they break loose in transit. They tend to be very fragile.

Now that I think of it...I have never heard the springs 'chatter' when I've moved the amp.You know the sound they make when yo uset the amp down,or bump it while moving. Thanks for the suggestion Lefty..I'll look into it.

I fixed it!!! It was one of the small wires in the reverb box.The Green one at the 'exit' end of the box. I find it hard to understand why all of the tonal/build quality in such amps comes down to wires in the reverb tank that are hairlike in diameter...Hey,it works though.
