I was wondering if this would be a good amp for the Americana/ AltCountry gig? You know Lucinda Williams, Jay Hawks, you get the idea. I read on Fat Sound Guitars this amp can pull the AC30 chime and overdrive as well as Brown Face Fender and Marshall 18 watt tones. Please give your opinions! Oh yea I have used a RT66 for the past 4 years, this amp just flat out ROCKS.

Yup, it'll do it.
Where the R66 has more of a JTM-45 kind of americana tone (thick, rock sound) the Maz amps have a comparatively thinner sound...but only because the R66 is SO thick! The Maz can easily move from a Fender w/Vox chime (more Volume drive, less Master with scooped settings) to a great Marshally tone (more Master drive, less Volume and a mid bump). Extremely versatile amp!
I have the R66 along with a Maz Jr and Sr and use each for different gigs (depends on the other amps/instrumentation in the group and music) - mostly Americana/Alt Country.
