Most likely a pre-amp tube. Try cleaning the sockets and re-seating them.

What kind of noise? Personally, I wouldn't worry about it if it goes away. If it is anything, it's likely a tube. They are sort of like light bulbs and will go at any time. I would not suspect an amp problem like a resistor, before checking tubes.

I am having the same issue with my Z-Plus. I am certain it is a Pre-amp tube. It's noisy for a while and then it settles down.
My Maz38 is having a drop in volume, which most likely means I have a Power tube event coming up, so I am going to avoid that and contact Perry the Tube Dude.

My Z-Plus made a loud stat-icy sounds today while playing. It stopped after a couple of seconds. I just swapped the power tubes to see it this was the issue. Almost sounded like the reverb was turned up for a second as well. Not sure if my problem is a preamp tube as well.

I swapped the V1 tube out a couple of days ago. It hasn't happened again, yet. I'll be more confident in after more time has passed. It seems very intermittent.

V1 is the tube most likely to make this sort of noise when it's beginning to go microphonic. Sometimes simply swapping V1 with V2 can confirm this, as V2 is a far less sensitive gain stage.

So it’s been a couple of weeks and the amp sounds perfect again. I’m going to have to say it was the V1 tube that I swapped out that fixed the issue.
