Hey All -
I don't know if anyone here used them in the past. But for a while Effects Bay put out Low tack pedal labels to mark your settings on your pedals. Then after a while, they stopped making them. Well it appears that they are back making them again. This time they are being distributed by Rattlesnake Cable Company. Just wanted to put the FYI out there. It's at pedallabels.com.

Yeah, Pretty inexpensive and safer for the finish of the pedals than just using regular tape and a marker.

I use console tape. It is cheap, easily removable and I already have several rolls of it from running sound. But if I did not already have that stuff I'd probably go with those labels since they are only 8 bucks.

These seem to be a great solution, and not a lot of $ to try out.
