I recently acquired a Route 66 from the UK, that is obviously wired by you guys for 230VAC power..using an appropriate step-up transformer I have determined that it behaves as expected, like new, performs to electrical specs..the power xfmtr is marked such: DRZ-8001-240. HTS-10814 9961432. Color coding on the primary: Black and Brown/White wires to the DPST power switch and Brown and Black/White wires tied together, ie what you have is two windings in series configuration…Question is can you give us wiring pic or directions for rewiring the primary for 115V-120VAC…or is this even possible??..here is the Serial# AA-10788…i already understand that once the wiring on the pwr Xfmr is done, we will change the mains fuse from 1.5 amp to a 3.0 amp and remove the 230 VAC sticker next to the IEC ac inlet jack. Thanks. Russ

After finally getting a decent night's sleep, we awoke with non-ordinary state of mind awareness and came up with the following: Black and Brown wires to the hot & Bck/White and Brn/White to the neutral--et voila, Route 66 now performs well on 120VAC power. So much for ordinary mind...
