...that I didn't buy or own, but this friggin pedal is the best I've heard - ever. I have not bought an OD pedal in quite a while, mainly because I am not playing much and my Tim, Timmy, and Rockett Animal and GTO cover all the bases for what I do. But I felt I wanted to try something different, so after doing a lot of looking around I settled on the Jetter Gold. For the record it has replaced both J Rockett pedals (for now), but the story begins with a friend of mine giving me 2 pedals try since they were not on his pedal board at the moment. One was an original Greg Koch Gristle King, and the second a Tanabe Dumkudo/Zenkudo pedal. I tried the Gristle pedal and it was good but kind of bright, but when I tried the Tanabe pedal I was floored at how my Maz 8 on 3 watts at bedroom level was transformed. I don't know the story or history behind this pedal maker but my friend told me it was $500.00 new. After hearing this beautiful pedal I would not think twice about buying this pedal at $500.00 instead of waiting 3 years for a KOT. It has a lot of tonal options for each channel but left them the way they were. My ASAT loved it and now I am going to try my Legacy and two PRS guitars with it before I return it - just because. If you ever have an opportunity to play through one (even at loud volumes) try it. But in the meantime I will be enjoying my Jetter Gold. reverb.com/item/40635071-tanabe-tv-twin-custom-dumkudo-zenkudo-2015-overdrive-pedalwww.tanabe.tv/top/kudou/index-e.html

I have a Dumkudo Twin and agree that it's an incredible pedal! I only wish it had a master on/off switch and the other toggled between the two circuits.

I also have a Dumkudo Twin. I'm just like you too. Great pedal for that Dumble thing, whatever that is. Doesn't really fit with the band I'm currently with. I'll eventually get back to playing more of a blues rock format and it most likely will be my only dirt pedal.
I'm glad to see that others on the forum have discovered how good it is. They are rather obscure. I thought I was the only one here who had one.

I will never sell my Tim or Timmy, but from what little I've played this pedal it would easily replace them on my board.

Hey Z Steve, I have a Jetter pedal as well. Like you, we don't see too many of them out there. Mine is Red Square - has the Helium clean boost on one side and Red on other with a mod switch. Had it over 7 years now. Its staying, but as you stated, the timmy doesn't get as much love and may go on the market place. Cheers.

I've had a Tim/Timmy constantly on my board for over 10 years. I would never be without one. No matter what amp I'm playing through it still seems to find a use. I can't say that about any other dirt pedal I've owned (dozens of them).
