So, I have purchased a newer Trainwreck half power Express and just bought the first Express 60 and I was thinking that I could do without the Wreck Jr. But...no. HELL NO!
The Wreck Jr is special in a way that few amps I've ever owned have been.
It's all that.
Really....

It's right there with the Trainwreck....actually, with the MV I find it far easier to live with and use than the 1/2 power Express. But that 'sonic soup' that I only hear from the Trainwreck is in the Wreck Jr. There's some difference between the EL34s in the Trainwreck and the 84s in the wee Wreck, but I seem to prefer whichever one I'm playing at the time. Interestingly enough, I have the new Trainwreck Express 60 shipping to me any day now and it's a newer MV version and I'm really looking forward to comparting it to the MV in the Z.

I think that the price will be increasing once they start getting out there.
