I am having G.A.S. for a Z-Wreck Jr. In order to get it I would have to give up an amp(it would keep peace in the house and I don't really have the physical room.) I have narrowed it down to either my Ghia or Maz 8. Which should I give up? Should I give up anything? I have also posted this on the Maz 8 and Z-Wreck Jr pages.

I'm going to say keep the MAZ 8. I would think the Ghia is going to be closer to the Z-Wreck in tone so that would give you more range there. Also the MAZ 8 is about half the power of the other two and has a nice Master Volume control which might allow you to play at a lower volume and still stay in your amp's sweet spot if that becomes necessary.

I second the Maz 8, especially if it's a MKII. The Master Volume improvement is so good, it turned my Maz 8 into a never sell amp.

Every Z i have parted with has left a massive regret hole. I had to move the Remedy as it was too loud for just home use, I still think its the best amp ever ALONG with the Carmen Ghia. My CG had chicken head knobs too. :-)
