Great demo - thanks for finding this one Adam! When we get through this foolishness you'll have to come over and try out the Zs here.

I think they’re all great and inspiring in different ways. One thing is for sure, they’re all done by extremely talented players that can really dig into the amp and ferret out the amazing sounds in the design. Please keep the demos coming, I never tire of watching them.

Although that Strat through the amp sounded great, I didn't care for the video either. He didn't try to show the versatility of the amp and his characterization of Carol-Anns having "sizzle" is not how I nor anyone else I know who has owned Carol-Anns would characterize them. He also got the genesis of the Aggression circuit wrong.
To me, it was just "Hey, check out this hi-gain amp" wanking. Adam's demo was much more revealing.

Comparing Adams and Jacks video's to me is an apples to oranges comparison, and here's why.
Adams videos demonstrates his wide array of talent. His Production talent, to select accompaniment , selecting various styles and types of songs, and his arrangements . His Engineering talent, to record, mix , and emphasize the quality tones of the CAZ. His ability to film and present the actual session. And of course his amazing playing ability. This takes time and much desire for perfection, he spends as much time on these videos as the Beatles did recording the White Album. All the time trying to show the extreme versatility of the CAZ 45.
Jack on the other hand is doing a virtual one take demo with an amp he has had for less than 24 hours. His attempt to demo the amp in a store setting to show players what the amp can do as a sales assistance to a player that only the best stores do. He did demonstrate the Clean to Scream capability of the amp with the PRS very successfully. Also the smooth overdrive of a Strat driven from both the amp alone and with a pedal. What I liked best about Jacks video was his explaining what the unique controls do in the operation of the amp, while only having a few hours to mess with it prior to the recording , brilliant Jack. Gave a great background into the collaboration and design criterial of the totally original and unique amp. Jacks exceptional playing skills goes without saying in every demo he does .
So I'm in the middle being very fortunate to have such great players demo my CAZ. Both demos are excellent for what they were meant to display, and really should not be judged just appreciated.

Cool demo. I like all kinds of gear demos. Always something to take away from the different styles and production methods. Personally I like ones like this best where it's just a dude playing random riffs and stuff with little else going on in the background. I always liked Matt's music demos for that reason too.
When it comes to gear demos for something I want to buy the more types the merrier! Good to see more demos of the CAZ.

FWIW, I really liked Jack's demo. He showed a couple more sides to the amp, and it's flat out not real easy to sit in front of a camera and make a good demo like that.
And the more is merrier thing, totally agree. Everyone flat out sounds different from one another, and what they want to hear from an amp can be night and day from person to person. After you watch certain reviewers for a while, you kind of find that they sound like "them" across their reviews. Like some people just have a lot of brightness in their hands as one example. Or some people always sound out of tune, and on particular strings to boot. Even the pedal show guys, they always sound like them even though they've played through thousands of different things. So the more the merrier.
Speaking to the pedal show, I wonder how much gear those guys have sold, like it has to be in the millions.

I have so MANY things I'd like to say on this topic, and on demo's in general, considering we are all basically forced to watch them, to get some kind of idea on the item we are interested in, but I'm going to take the high road and just be quiet. (for now) plus, who gives a $hit what I think! lol

I liked it too. It shows how great the amp cleans up with GV, and although it didn't show much variation in tone, what was there is stellar. Great playing too. I've tried to do demo videos and it's really hard, especially if you're alone. I'm gonna leave it to the pros from here out!

Loved it! Was waiting for the drums and bass to kick in, and imagining the beach ball being bopped around the audience!

I’m a little late responding to this, but I’ve always hated strat style guitars with high gain amps. I’ve always thought they sound fizzy. But, that’s not the case here. Jack made that strat sound good. I can’t speak highly enough on how great this amp is. It’s not just a high gain amp. It’s an overall great amp that can do many styles.

I just found this video too. I also commented about this on YT, but to me the only thing wrong with this demo is he kept the aggression knob up too high. That's what gave it the "grainy" sound. Don't get me wrong it's a cool control, and there are definitely times to keep up high. But I wish he would have turned it down for at least a section or two to show how smooth the amp can also be.

My initial impression too. I very much respect the demo though. His playing was great, fantastic even, and that sound he gravitated to was what he wanted to hear from that amp. I think that's why all these review things are helpful, like I went pretty much 180 degrees away from what he did. And that aggression sound, no amp I've ever heard can make that sound. And I really can't understate how hard it is to do a good amp demo that shows all of what one of these amps can do. It would take a year to make and be an hour long. Maybe 2 hours.

These are the reasons why I wish it would be so much easier to make a good sounding YouTube video. Anybody can make a YouTube video review of an amplifier that looks good, but to actually make one that has quality sound is where the real trick lies. If that were possible for everyone, then anybody who owns or has access to an amp could do a good video on it, which would be great because then we could hear the amp in hundreds of difference of contexts which I think would be beneficial for everybody. But for now, we’ll just have to go with what the pros give us!
