I finished my music room/rehearsal space in December, and since setting up equiptment,I have been playing the Therapy with 2 6V6's-I have tried differant Power amp tubes before, but this feels and sounds right to me.I was wondering if dropping down the big tubes, does this make it a 1/2 power amp, putting out 17 watts? It sounds great btw, since I am in a tiny space,I'm gonna leave it this way since I like to run the master above 2 oclock. And it loves single coils.

The JJ 6V6 datasheet shows 10 watts max in a class A1 push-pull amp. So the max that the tube could possibly put out in the Therapy is 20 watts for a pair. But typically it's less, like in the Tweed Deluxe 5E3 that's rated at 12 or 15 watts, depending on your info source.
I like mine with 6V6 tubes too, but I recently found a pair of NOS 6L6s that sound terrific so I'm back to stock again. Here's the datasheet: JJ 6V6 datasheet

Different strokes for different folks. I generally don't like JJ preaamp or 6L6 tubes, but after trying many different tubes and output tube types, I keep going back to the stock tubes in the Therapy.
