Was thinking of a pair of Scumnico 30 Watters for my Germino Classic 45. Anyone try these speakers? What did you think?

Jim from Scumback is a member here - he might chime in about his preferences for the Classic 45.

I've got one I shoehorned into a Z 1X10 cab that pairs great with my M12. Once you start pushing them, they're chimey beasts. The meanest AC15 that Vox never built. Don't know how it'd work with a Marshall-based circuit. You should ask Jim - he's top drawer with speaker recommendations.

I really liked the Scumnico (regular/standard 30W one, not the PVC one) with my Carmen Ghia--more so than even the Celestion Gold or Vintage 30. It beat them both head-to-head.
However, on almost all my other (British-flavored) amps, I've generally preferred the ceramic-magnet M75 and/or J75 series Scumbacks over the Scumnico. I can't put my finger on it, but the Scumnico seems maybe a tad softened/muted or dull, comparatively. Along these same lines, I suspect that I personally just prefer ceramic-magnet speakers in most instances; so, this is likely just personal preference.
