Hey Doc,
That was a different person that e-mailed you. I was in contact with him about the amp. It's a good price which is why people are looking at it. Too bad someone decided to mod it - probably why they sold it to GC. GC should have advertised that it was modded.

Yes, that was me that emailed. Its the right color for me, but I have another one NOT modded semi local to me. What has been done can be undone, that is something to think about. It may also be a bonus to somebody, if the mod sounds good.

That be the funkiest type of mode switch that I've ever seen on the back of an amp...

Howdy,
Why on Earth can't people leave Dr. Z's amps alone?

Somebody snagged it finally.
Sometimes its cheaper to try to make the amp do what you want it to do than to try a different amp. Lots of people say that amp is "To Dark", and somebody tried to brighten it up a bit. Maybe it worked, maybe it didn't, the only one that is going to know is the new owner.

I’m just a caveman, it I’d think I’d try a different speaker first before modding anything (especially for brightness, tightness, etc).

I know I go in spirts where I have that one speaker is the S**& and I want to use it with everything. Some people only have one cab (Oh the HORROR!). LOL. To mod or not to mod, that is the question. I go with NOT to Mod.
