Nice. I have to admit I was looking at this for higher gain tones but I think the ES-335/ Steely Dan section of this demo steals the show. That seems to this amps wheelhouse in this demo.

Wow, some Lynch on a 335! Thought I’d never see that. GREAT demo, now that’s what we’ve been waiting for.

I'm pretty sure that the initial run was completely sold out before the end of the demo! Holy Cow, that is an amazing amp! I appreciate showing what the amp can do with all the cover tunes. I think Doc's going to do good with this one.

Agreed, and I like the Pink Floyd parts also. Versatile amp. Yes, with three controls that control the overall gain, this amp is very versatile. Something that many high gain amps seem to fall short with is that they basically excel at only one level of saturation, on a small range of the gain knob. You find the sweet spot and live there. This amp isn’t simply a “high gain” amp. It’s a low gain amp, medium gain, and high gain and it can do them all well depending on where you set the three gain controls.

And Adam Gotheridge is a well-heeled guitar player, haven’t heard him before today but will look out for more in the future. Well done all around.

Hope this was helpful to all of you. I tried to represent the amp as it sounds, or can sound, meaning it's not all colored up with effects or pedals. Most of it is close to bone dry and some of it is completely bone dry. It does a lot more than this though, like you can get some of those really killer early Santana tones which I personally find really elusive, or you can find yourself going through the zep catalog with just the volume on your guitar. It's a really unique amp with a lot of variation in the controls. That first level control (sensitivity I think) kind of sets the structure for the amp, like if you set that really high, you can make the attack really "splatty" if you want. Gain does gain like you would think, the eq section just sounds good all around, like the frequencies are at great center points and whatever Q they are affecting just seems right. The aggression control has a really unique sound too, kind of more in your face to warmer in general, and mostly affects mids in a way which is a lot different from the mid control itself. The last level control, kind of like a master volume, really doesn't affect the tone of the amp at all which is quite apparent when recording it the way I did using the di from the amp output. When you put it really high, you start to get into an area of more compression and less attack with the power tubes working, but the tone really doesn't change at all. If you are live in the room with it in a cab, it sounds like it changes the tone, but that just the sensitivity of your ears and different volumes, or the speaker and cab just sounding different. Anyway, it's a really versatile amp and the tone can be shaped in ways that a "normal" amp just can't. There's something really neat going on with how it reacts to pick attack and volume controls on the guitar. It can go from really heavy to quite clean without losing hardly any volume. Maybe one takeaway I hope you hear is how articulate the amp is no matter how much gain is going on. Another thing I notice is that it's never harsh in any way. I own maybe 15 amps, and probably another 15 if you can count randall/synergy module stuff. My wife even thinks this one is "special". And yes, I bought it.

This looks like a truly impressive amp. It seems to have the heavy tones covered in “one amp to rule them all”. A “no pedal required” amp. Also an excellent demo! Great tones and playing. ME

I’ve listened to the demo several times. It’s just great! I’ve already said it, but it’s amazing just how smooth the amp is. It will cover a lot of ground. That 335 sound!!!
