The band is slowing getting back in to playing shows. I've been using the Jetta for everything. Mainly because it sounds amazing and it's easy to move. This past weekend, we were on a huge stage outside at a private event, so I brought the Wreck. It sounded great and was so much fun to play. All I needed was a delay pedal, a little tremolo and my volume pedal. I had everything else, including my boost pedal, but didn't need it.
It's amazing how the Wreck responds to your volume knob. Like most of us, I roll the volume back for rhythm stuff and then open it up for leads. And when you open the Wreck, there's some kind of mojo magic going on that takes me to another place mentally. It's hard to describe, but the tone is so good it inspires me to play better.
For those of you who gig the big Wreck, do you experience the same kind of inspirational thing?

I played my Nova at an outdoor jam a few weeks ago and felt this way. The amp's responsiveness and tone inspired me to play better.

Any time your tone is great and you feel hooked up to the guitar-amp-player loop it's inspiring to me.
