I'm starting to get parts delivered for my new Warmoth guitar. The body is at MJT, I have the neck and pickguard, so I am going to start putting together the pickups and switch.
I don't want to create a three page post, but I am starting to look at HSS pickup sets such as Fralin, Lollar, Suhr, etc. I have a couple of Duncan guitars already.
I don't need a screaming HB but one that compliments the guitar. I am planning on using a PU with a cover in the bridge.
Any suggestions?

give me some specs and I'll hand wind one for you Todd, I appreciate your offer. However, I am going to use this opportunity to personally work with a small builder to discuss, learn and discover what I am really looking for in a matched set. Thanks, BV

Check out Deacci pickups. Just got off of the phone with Declan. He talked me into not buy any pickups until I string up the guitar and set the intonation. He wants to hear the resonance and tone of the guitar acoustically, so I'll send him a video when the guitar gets put together. Interesting sales approach and I'm on board. Thanks Helmi

He’s great to deal with, and fun as Hell to talk to. he has his OWN way of approaching his builds. I’m happy with my set. keep us updated.

It's a trip, they are on a plane to America tonight for delivery on Thursday. I enjoy that type of commerce. Thanks for the connection Brian Vallis

International Shipping Bewilderment
Declan of Diacci Pickups winds a new set of pickups in Scotland on Tuesday, then he ships them with Fed Ex the same day.
It is scheduled to arrive in 1/2 hour in Sacramento, CA less than 3 days later.
Under the current conditions of the World right now this delivery information is very impressive.

I ordered a clip-on tuner a month ago from a big national retailer and it's not here yet. It's been sitting in Indianapolis (first stop via USPS) for over 10 days. It took two weeks to get there.
I'm looking forward to hearing your review, Brian. I think that his wanting to hear the guitar acoustically is a great approach.

The whole thing turned out to be a disaster. I'll leave it at that for now.
