tell us about fuzz pedals with this particular format of “Early Marshall Sounds”! What rocks? Which fuzz rocks best for Classic Rock?

For me. The best fuzz is the Analogman Sun Lion. It is also the only fuzz I have found I really bond with. Now I have wondered how the Deep Trip Land Kryptone would do.
Of course this is just my opinion on fuzz. YMMV.

Considering what the EMS is, I think any fuzz can work with it. I only have 2 fuzzes and I can get both of them to sound excellent with this amp. Still need to get me a good germanium fuzz though - I bet they clean up killer!

1.which ones do you use with the EMS? 2. i’ve thought about the sun lion! Can you tell me what type music with this one? 3.Anybody try a Fulltone 69? with EMS? My only interest is in Classic Rock and Modern Blues. A little bit of Alternative Rock.

1. I’m using a JAM Eureka and a Beetronics Whoctahell. Neither of which is very reminiscent of anything classic.
2. I would love to try a Sunlion or a Sunface! I’ve never heard a bad word about either one.
My next fuzz will either be a Fuzzface, a Sunface or a Sunlion.

You might want to look into the Analogman Astrotone while you’re at it. It easily cleans up and goes into a very sweet OD mode as a huge bonus. Truly a double duty pedal. I personally like it better for OD than my POT.
In fact, I actually bought three just for when he runs out of the transistors.

three? you must like it! i’ll take a look! Thanks It doesn’t get as major fuzzy as some of his Sunface models but it has more than plenty IMO. It's that really nice OD when it cleans up that I find so appealing. Kind of a do-it-all.

I ended up getting the Fulltone Queen Bee. I can’t try it out yet. Remodeling and my house is in shambles! I Wait!

Remodeling ! Getting a new kitchen in April through May. Completel gut job and new places for the window, sink, and stove. On to the fuzz... I’m late I know, but if your choice doesn’t work for you, try a Keeley Fuzz Bender. It has a lot of tones in it and has two other bonus points. It seems to be readily available and isn’t expensive. Not a fuzz face, but more than a just bender circuit. It’s the only fuzz I’ve really bonded with. I have a Remedy, not an EMS, but in the same camp. Stay safe. ME
