Wow. This not a 12 watt amp! With the tweaks and 6N output tubes I had to an attenuater on it to crank it up in the house!
Josh is going to spend some with it to get it dialed in with his pedal board and post some video.
For now let say this. Its loud, lively and breaks up really nice!
more to come

I believe you! I bought a mini z combo - 5 watts with the a l n Nico red fang speaker (102 spl) from Humbucker.com.. Was just too loud for my situations. Great amp but I had to sell

I run my M12 with a 5v4 as well. At 3 on the volume dial it is incredibly loud for sure.

What preamp tubes did Doc send it to you with? V1 is a EF86, could read the label and I didnt feel like taking the rubber bands off to see. V2 has a Sovtek 12AX7LPS V3 &V4 are Russian 6n's V5 is a Sylvania 5V4 Rectifier This has some very dynamics. A little roll back on the volume on the guitar and it cleans up nicely.

Thanks, Todd. That Sovtek is Docs recommendation, so I imagine the EF86 is the winged C. The winged C’s I got from the tube store sound a bit tubby and stiff to me, so I was more so just curious if Doc has changed that one. I’ve had good luck with RFT for the ef86. A tad less middy and more open.
Sounds like you got a real winner there.

Patiently awaiting the next update. we moved the chassis into a 1x10 combo cab with a Greenback today. Josh moved it into his room and we plan on getting a demo video together soon. Doc did not lie when he called it a fire breather. Josh has a Les Paul and and SgG and this little monster screams. I think the best part so far is how lively the amp is. It's pretty punchy. Just for grins we swapped out the 6N power tubes for standard JJ EL84'S earlier. The amp didnt lose any gain but it was quieter and little more mushy. We put the 6N's back in!

Interesting, I have yet to try the 6n's in my Ghia. See a 1x10 m12 sounds like a great combo.
