Can anyone give me an idea when it might be time to think about retubing my maz 18 nr Mkii? In terms of hours of use or maybe clues the amp might give me when it’s time. Thanks

Thanks John, the 6n14n output tubes that are in the MAZ 18 NR MKII have a conservative life rating of 5000 hours, so you should be good there for a while. The 5AR4 rectifier will let you know when it needs changing by blowing fuses after Stand-By is engaged . The three pre-amp tubes will also last a long time , only hum or microphonic artifacts will cause you to swap them, and this happens but not that often. Z
