Hi,
Reading reviews on the 2x12 Z Best - sounds amazing
I have a little Marshall Class 5, which already sounds 4x bigger than it actually is, I love how this thing sounds and would like to be able to gig it
Has a G10M Greenback in the 1x10 cab it comes with. I wanted to add a bit more bottom end and some top end shimmer, to get Brian May esque harmonic singing tones
I was thinking the G12H in the bottom and Blue in the top would make a nice pairing? Anyone have any experience with this?
Playing for 20 years now but never selected speakers for a cab. I like big crunchy tones and singing harmonic leads, responsive, organic tones
It's only a low wattage amp so I was thinking to stick with low wattage speakers. My other thought was maybe to include the G12M heritage greenback in place of the Blue or the G12H? I was steering away from the V30 due to lack of wattage, and I like the older style tones over contemporary ones
All suggestions appreciated! Thanks

I like mixing speakers. I have a blue/g12h in an open back. And a v30/Creamback H in a Z best. Some great combinations are: Blue/G12H Greenback/G12H Creamback M/G12H The blue isn’t really ideal in a closed back cab though. I’d reach out to Jim and Scumback speakers. He’ll give you some perfect options. www.scumbackspeakers.com/recommend.html

It depends on the amp but I like greenbacks in the Z Best as well as a mix of a gold and a blue (used in the Z-Wreck Quantum Silver).

V30 is rated for 60 watts, a blue is rated at 15watts. The v30 is one if the stick speakers and pairs very nicely with the stock G12H. It's a great sounding speaker cab and the stock speakers really rock If you decide to go away from stick speakers you will want to pay attention to speaker effeciency so you will be able to hear both speakers in the cab.
