dying to try and hopefully order an mkii NR. My only concern is that even at 18 watts is it too loud for small pub gigs with say 50-100 person capacity. i want to be able to crank the MV and get the amp operating “in the zone” at most every gigging scenario. i know the post phase inverter MV has been updated on the mkii should help but wasn’t sure by how much. any advice much appreciated. Thanks !

Jay,
It is my opinion that you will be very impressed with the MV.
You should be able to get your tone at whatever volume by blending the Volume and MV.
It is very predictable and easy to dial in your tone.

I had no problems with the MV on the original version, but with the Mk.II... I realized what I was missing (or didn't realize). The MV on the Mk.II is better than an attenuator or power-scaling, IMO.
I have a Morgan AC20 Deluxe with Power-scaling. This works good at "gig level", but for really small gigs (like a duo with an acoustic player) or home practice, the MV on the Maz 18 is much better and more natural sounding.
